The responsibilities of the Supply Chain Director will be to:

• Define and implement comprehensive strategies for all aspects of the company’s supply chain to reduce direct and indirect costs, mitigate risk, improve quality, shorten lead times and reduce inventories.
• Define and implement strategies for securing supply result in increased profitability, cash flow, and overall economic efficiency.
• Continuously develop/enhance supply chain productivity and operational processes. Implement industry best practices for forecasting, sourcing, risk mitigation, inventory, and vendor management.
• Guarantee consistent quality of the purchased products, consumables, raw materials and replacement parts
• Establish and support SOP procedures, aligning Sales and Operations teams in solid action plans and delivery schedules.
• Assess forecast requirements and analyze risks, errors, in order to minimize company exposure and provide consistent and on time deliveries to customers
• Negotiate prices and conditions securing cost advantages  for the company from the procurement prices perspective, generating consistently capital spend reductions that lead to increased competitiveness and profitability
• Distribute the procurement contracts to the individual suppliers so that the ability of the company to act is not threatened by dependence on individual suppliers.
• Ensure that the company always has a capable and reliable supplier base so that the value of inventory and warehousing costs  are minimised by efficient and optimized supplier delivery and LT management
• Explore and secure alternative sourcing for most critical components in order to assure business continuation at all times
• Collaborate in a global, multinational and cross-functional environment both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Director should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business economics. MBA is desirable.
• Familiarity with international manufacturing standards 
• ISO 9001, 14000 experience with process documentation and system audits.
• Excellent English language skills
• SAP Proficiency

• Strong leadership skills
• Strong PC Skills
• Very good written and verbal communication and presentation skills

• More than 10 years of experience in international Procurement and Supply Chain Manageme
