In the Service Delivery Director position, we are looking for a skilled manager to assume leadership of our service delivery department. This is a multidisciplinary team of account managers, software engineers, operators, master mariners, and naval engineers, who are fully end-to-end responsible for ensuring our customers get the best value out of our products and effectively use them to make their operations more efficient. This includes:

• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships
• Integrating with the customer’s onboard and cloud IT systems
• Configuring our software products for use by new customers
• Providing expert advice, training and consulting to customers
• Providing support to users and resolving queries
• Coordinating cross-departmental and cross-organisational teams
• Relaying customer feedback and expertise to help drive strategy, communications and product
• Development

The main qualifications for this Service Delivery Director role are:

• Engineering Diploma/MEng or equivalent or greater qualification in a STEM field, including some background or experience in software
• Background or experience in the Maritime industry will be considered an asset
• Experience managing and leading technical teams
• Experience managing complex client-facing technical projects involving multiple internal and external shareholders
• Experience from a startup/scaleup environment will be considered a plus
• Ability to quickly gain an understanding of diverse engineering areas (software, naval and electrical) and confidently manage experts in these fields
• Ability to configure, use and maintain project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com or Jira), with multiple layers of automatons and integrations, to manage sophisticated projects and ensure teams adopt, update and effectively use them
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment with tight time constraints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Greek.
