The Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:

• Implement projects securely, on budget, and within the defined time frame.
• Communicate with local suppliers and subcontractors to improve pricing and evaluate potential projects for cost analysis.
• Create and distribute RFPs to potential EPC subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics, and win proposals.
• Prepare and oversee projects' time schedules and participate in contract negotiations and change orders.
• Liaise with the Engineering Department to provide preferred suppliers and assist the Country Manager in compiling the local budget.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, identify critical paths and milestones for success, and communicate with utilities and authorities regarding regulatory compliance issues.
• Approve all project weekly payments and follow up on the budget on a weekly basis in coordination with the financial department.
• Identify sources of potential problems, take preventive measures to avoid project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate negative impacts.
• Prepare subcontractor contracts in cooperation with legal and technical development and evaluate the performance of Construction Managers, Project Engineers, EPC, and/or Subcontractors.
• Ensure the completeness of project documentation, manage insurance placement and claims, follow health and safety requirements, and prepare weekly reports to the HQ.

The suitable candidate for the Project Manager position will possess:

• A BSc in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management / Facilities Management.
• Preferably experience in Solar Power Plant construction (ideally in 2 or more utility-scale >5MW PV projects).
• Excellent knowledge of the English language.
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and MS Project.
• Advanced use of AutoCAD software.
• Sufficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code, solar permitting, and other PV system regulatory codes.
• Certification in Project Management, e.g., MBA/PMP/PRINCE II.
