As Project Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Elaborate on the Project Execution Plan and Schedule in accordance with General Manager and in coordination with the other functions;
• Define and update projects’ budget in coordination with General Manager;
• Prepare the Decision Support Package required to achieve the Final Investment Decision on the projects;
• Periodically report to General Manager and to the HQ Project Execution Monitoring function about progress and costs evolution with respect to the baseline;
• Supervise the local Technical/Engineering Team in order to ensure that all the inputs are properly collected, verified, and transferred to the HQ engineering department and/or engineering contractors;
• Supervise the local Technical/Engineering Department or engineering contractors during the design phase in order to ensure design optimization and compliance with local regulations;
• Supervise the Technical/Engineering Department to properly execute the assessment of the project site and activate local subcontractors for detailed geotechnical and topographical surveys;
• Assist the local Business Development team in the interface with developers, landowners, local authorities, and Electrical System Operators in relation to technical matters and requirements;
• Organization of all the documentation required in the legalization/authorization process of both the photovoltaic plant and the connection infrastructure, as requested by the authorities or the network operator.
• Relationship with the Grid Operator and with other institutions involved in the execution of the photovoltaic plants (municipalities, control, and certification bodies, public administration, etc.)
• Technical and regulatory updates on the best practices in the sector
• Cooperate with the Procurement Department for the preparation of the Invitation To Tender package and liaise with the engineering department in preparing the technical specification and for the technical bids evaluation;
• Ensure the proper coordination with HQ function in terms of projects monitoring, project controls, engineering design, HSE requirements
• Manage the contracts awarded for the execution of the projects assuring that the provisions of the contracts are observed and properly managing possible variations and claims;
• Ensure the proper handover of the Engineering Package to the Construction Team and provide clarifications and flag critical technical points to the local site teams prior to the start of construction;
• Support the Construction Manager in the organization of the engineering activities during the Construction Phase;
• Support the Construction Team in discussing technical issues with the contractors and organize visits on-site as required to confirm that the construction drawings are implemented;
• Participate in the projects' commissioning process by supporting the Construction Team in defining proper commissioning procedures and in elaborating the punch lists.
• Coordination with HSE departments for compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements

As Project Manager , you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management in solar PV projects’ design and construction
• Analytical skills /Attention to detail.
• High sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage personnel and multiple priorities. Able to work independently.
• Strong time management and project management skills in order to meet deadlines.
