As an Oracle Database Administrator you will: 

• Work collaboratively with different teams to administer the build out and support of Oracle Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production system
• Escalate to certain suppliers on customer’s behalf to try to resolve issues outside of our control, such as bug fix requests.
• Communicate with the customer through formal correspondence
• Ensure compliance with all technical specifications
• Database health monitoring, export and import
• Organize and provide daily operations and checks.
• Administrative tasks, such as, promotions on all instances, code changes, recompiles, data changes, cloning, relocate, rename Instances, performance Issues, query optimization, installation of new Instances, changes on the configuration, patching and updates, troubleshooting
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of production issues

What will you need for this Oracle Database Administrator:

• Bachelor Degree in IT or related field
• Any experience as a DBA in Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, Sybase, MySQL will be advantageous
• SQL DDL, DML, and PLSQL coding skills
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter with ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks simultaneously and complete work within allocated time-frames
• High level of professionalism, integrity and responsibility
• Be flexible working in shifts
• Willingness to work in new fields and develop new skills

• 2-years’ experience as a DBA in Oracle Databases

• University degree
