As a legal counsel, some of your main tasks will include:

• Supporting the project development permitting activity for renewable energy projects
• Managing the correspondence with the relevant authorities
• Writing and reviewing land contracts (land lease, Ministry and Municipality tender participation)
• Assisting in the negotiation of interventions in support to the local communities
• Coordinating and supporting the Italian headquarter in understanding all the relevant Greek legislation and documentation
• Supporting structuring, drafting, negotiating, and closing joint development and M&A transactions
• Supporting greenfield wind, solar and storage project development across Greece
• Supporting in drafting and negotiating project documents (including EPC, procurement, operations and maintenance, asset management, project offtake and interconnection agreements)
• Working closely with development, real estate, engineering, construction and operations teams to progress project pipeline through land acquisition, permitting, construction, interconnection and commercial operation
• Performing and interpreting legal due diligence, communicating findings to senior management and crafting strategies to mitigate risk
• Managing corporate governance issues
• Drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts required for ongoing business operation, including service contracts, confidentiality agreements and license agreements
• Providing general legal support to senior management, finance, human resources, tax, and other company departments
• Monitoring the evolution of the regulations / jurisprudence and providing support to the functions concerned matter
• Performing additional duties as required.

The requirements for the legal counsel role are:

• University Degree in Law
• LLM or Master degree in Law
• Relevant experience (legal and advisory) in commercial, corporate and energy law cases in a legal department or equivalent in a law firm
• Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• Excellent knowledge of PC (MS Office)

• Self-driven and highly motivated to contribute to the success of the Group.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including management of workload, proactiveness, and creative thinking
• Solution-oriented with strong analytical skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Management and leadership skills and qualities
