As a Junior Application Specialist, your responsibilities will be following:

• Define requirements related to core systems change requests and implement changes based on best practices (solution design, application configuration, functionality testing, solution implementation of CRM-related requirements)
• Receive problem reports from users, work with the users to understand the issue, resolve the problems (with external partner support as required), and follow up on each case (Help Desk). Log all incoming requests in the ticketing system and attempts an initial troubleshooting/ issue resolution
• Maintain documentation of all issues, pending and resolved, assist in user training and contribute to end-user manual compilation
• Execute all configuration changes and proactively monitor applications for usefulness and data integrity
• Play a hands-on role in customizing and enhancing applications, leveraging experience with built-in admin, reporting, and development tools
• Participate in application-related projects and assist in the definition, execution, and monitoring of milestones
• Enhance application reports using tools provided either as part of the application or external BI tools
• Work with ICT resources to integrate applications with 3d party, internal and/ or external systems
• Support users’ requests to import data into the application from various sources, following established procedures and using appropriate tools. Enhances import tools as needed
• Maintain documentation regarding application configuration, application workflows, and business rules
• Assist in any other IT sector projects/activities as per operational needs 
• Design test cases and participates in user acceptance tests

Moreover, in relation to the application, additional tasks include:

• Provide 1st level support to key users
• Monitor execution and provide quality assurance on scheduled development operations by 3rd party providers
• Perform key user training on application functions
• Maintain roles and user access credentials on the application

In order for your profile to match the Junior Application Specialist position, you need to have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ software engineering/ mathematics.
• Master’s degree in computer science would be an asset.
• Communication skills, both oral and written
• Time management
• Ability to set priorities and organize his work in order to meet strict deadlines
• Project-focused attitude and ability to work proactively and efficiently
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Multitasking
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Hands-on experience in MS tools
• Highly skilled in MS Office 2016
• Knowledge of Microsoft, MS SQL would be an asset
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics Navision & MS CRM would be an asset
• Certified in Microsoft applications & databases would be an asset
• Very good knowledge of English
• At least 3 years of work experience in similar position.
