    As a Java Developer in this position, you will be part of an agile team, developing and testing mainly web-based applications and you will also be responsible for bringing new ideas on the table, regarding the design and the architecture of the applications.

    Moreover, your ideas and your effort in order to enhance and add new features to the existing applications are more than welcome!

    In brief, as a Java Developer you will also:

    • get involved in the full life cycle software development
    • contiguously monitor and improve code quality
    • translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed design
    • research new technologies/development methods and prototype solutions
    • support and mentor junior developers

  • προσόντα

    In order for your profile to match this Java Developer role, you need to have the following skills:

    • a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 1-3 years of working experience as a Java Developer
    • RESTFUL web services and MVC patterns experience, and microservice architecture understanding
    • experience in JSON and and/or XML technologies
    • knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
    • working knowledge of Lucene, Solr, or Elasticsearch will be a plus
    • experience in javascript, html, css is an asset
    • ability to meet tight deadlines
