As anICT Network & Infrastructure Administrator, your duties will be the following:

• Maintenance and configuration tasks on routers, switches, firewalls and wireless equipment (Cisco) in collaboration with the external Vendor
• Provide 1st and mainly 2nd level support and convey resolutions to customer issues.
• Escalate proper unresolved queries to the next level of support.
• Track, routing and redirect problems to correct resources.
• Escalate IT issues to the Head of IT Operations where necessary.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Undertake small- to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the Head of IT Operations.
• Prepare documents, meeting materials and correspondence
• Perform basic administrative support duties, as required, to meet specific operational objectives.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the Head of IT Operations.
• Provide support as required to the Head of IT Operations.
• Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customer.
• Participate in company’s trainings.
• Follow ITIL process (incident, problem, change management, etc.)
• Maintain, support and improve corporate connectivity by proactively monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages
• Undertake network capacity management and manage IP addressing space
• Provide out of hours support for service impacting maintenance
• Create and follow device and firmware lifecycle policies
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, topology, processes, and standards
• Ensure SLAs are met, documentation is correct, and policies and procedures are in place
• Report faults and maintain logs on servers, network devices
• Ensure that all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
• Set up new users and disabling expired accounts in accordance.
• Document and develop an in-depth knowledge of existing IT architecture / infrastructure and technology portfolio, developing operational monitoring as required including common, integrated road maps for infrastructure operations.
• Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement.
• Identify key risks and manage accordingly, to ensure continuity of services.
• Supporting the on-going development, documentation, testing and delivery of the IT disaster recovery plan.
• Manage supplier provisioning and operational performance including leading on supplier services to match 3rd line support.
• Lead supplier reviews of Infrastructure services with support from the IT Head of operations.
• The role will be involved in the rollout (To porter equipment where support services or project work requires it) of large-scale IT equipment replacements that will require the relocation of often IT assets, this can include the lifting equipment as well as prolonged moderate exertion.

In order for your profile to match the ICT Network & Infrastructure Administrator position, you need to have the following skills:

• 5+ years of work experience in a similar position
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (knowledge of cloud resource deployment principles or usage of specific cloud technologies)
• CCNP level candidate (valid qualifications not essential, however suitable experience and knowledge is important)
• Good understanding of structured cabling and network connectivity incl. Routers, Switches, Access Points and SD-WAN technologies
• Experience of using Active Directory / Windows administration
• Experience of site installations and decommissions
• Excellent documentation and Asset Management
• A logical approach – able to problem solve
• A can-do attitude – able to deliver excellent customer service
• Experience working in an ITIL based service management framework
• Systems management procedures in a large commercial, mission-critical environment
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019 including clustering
• Good Understanding of VMware vSphere 6.5+ including the using of Site Recovery Manager
• Good Understanding of iSCSI/Fibre channel Storage Area Networks, such as Nimble
• Good Understanding of Microsoft Office 365\Exchange Online
• Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS, SaaS, PaaS systems and services
• Understanding of Monitoring tools
• Understanding of Backup systems (preferably Veritas Azure Backup)
• Understanding of SQL Server 2016+ in a clustered environment
• Ability to perform Research and Development into new systems in preparation for implementation/third line support
• Experience on IT Security, Security Audits and Vulnerability Assessment issues gained in complex environments
• Very good knowledge of English
• Must have a good understanding of ITIL, including Service Management, Capacity Management, and Change Management
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel across Greece
• Master’s degree in computer science would be an asset
• Azure certifications may be advantageous
