The responsibilities for the financial analyst role include:

• Formulation of the Global OPEX Annual Budget and Monthly Actuals
• Reporting and Analysis
• Cost analysis vs Budget/Forecast, analyze past results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide recommendations for mitigation of risks and improvements
• business partnering for G&A Senior Leadership and distribute monthly Departmental Reports
• Assistance in evaluation of budget requests
• Assistance in special projects as assigned and provide actionable insights
• Analysis and reporting of the Fixed Asset Register in addition to Capex Forecast
• Preparation of data to update/upload standard monthly reports and ensure accuracy
• liaison with AP and GL teams as well as Statutory Financial Controllers to ensure correct accounting treatment of transactions
• You will ensure compliance to all Group Policies and maintain records to enable Audit
• Coordination with G&A team or other finance members to review financial information

The ideal candidate for this financial analyst position should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Master’s degree will be considered an asset
• +5 years Financial Accounting, Forecasting, Analysis and Reporting experience preferable in a multinational company
• Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ERP) – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Oracle/Hyperion use will be considered an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Assumes ownership of tasks and delivers with minimum guidance
• Ability to work independently but also as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize own workload
• Self-motivation and focus on continuous improvement
