As a Data Protection & Legal Officer you will:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with the requirements of the EU GDPR and relevant national data protection law(s) and regulations regarding the protection of personal data
• Conduct data protection impact assessments and assist with data protection audits
• Respond to data subject access requests and right to be forgotten requests
• Responsible for any investigations from data protection authorities
• Coordinate and respond to EU data protection authorities on issues relating to data processing
• Investigate and take action on complaints relating to candidates, employees and customer privacy 
• Ensure that policies and procedures are kept up to date and plans/schedules data processing audits regularly, monitoring core activities to ensure they are compliant with the EU GDPR
• Resolve conflicts between applicable law and this policy in consultation with the Group Data Protection Officer
• Advise the Group Data Protection Officer of any local legislation that might affect international cross-border transfers of Personal Data in a way not appropriately addressed by this policy 
• Keep up to date with developments in Data Protection and remaining knowledgeable about the applicable laws, local obligations and regulatory guidance and best practices related to Data Protection compliance
• Maintaining an overview and monitor the performance of data protection impact assessments and where requested, provide further guidance and advice 
• Promote and advise on the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational measures for ensuring Data Protection by design and by default
• Inform and advise on the protection of personal data in relation to the EU GDPR and national law(s) and regulations
• Provide data protection training to Randstad’s employees
• Working together with the business to discuss solutions to issues
• Advise Randstad and its employees of their obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation and other European laws
• Liaise with all members of staff on matters of data protection
• Participate in the Randstad Data Protection global community

• Degree in Law from an accredited university from Greece or abroad
• Holding a Data Protection and/or Privacy certification (such as, CIPP, CIPT, ISEB, etc.) is a plus
• Full professional proficiency in Greek and English
