The Energy Management Performance Analyst will have to:

• Produce the analysis for portfolio management performance, monitoring and periodic reporting
• Performs cost-profit analysis
• Everyday calculation and reporting of risk KPIs for the energy portfolio
• Risk metric calculation for the energy portfolio (e.g., value at risk / VAR, conditional value at risk / CVAR, profit at risk / PAR, Variance, Cumulative Distribution Function / CDF, etc.).
• Responsible for optimizing our performance reporting structure
• Identify and highlight opportunities for performance improvement
• Inputting performance forecasts and targets for business cases through scenario modeling
• Analyze large amounts of data and provide recommendations to support the development of long and short term business strategies
• Recommendations for improving workflow processes
• Continuous reporting to the upper management

The ideal candidate for the role of the Energy Management Performance Analyst should have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Post Graduate certification in Data / Quantitative Analysis, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field will be highly appreciated.
• Skills in quantitative analysis, models and processes to support risk management activities (stochastic processes, econometric methods, optimization) and in the functional areas portfolio management and pricing
• Scenario generation (e.g. ARIMA models), scenario reduction techniques Stochastic and deterministic programming (e.g., linear programming, mixed integer linear programming);
• Data visualization / BI tools skills will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of database structure languages, such as MySQL, is a plus.
• Experience on power and gas markets will be appreciated.
• Excellent command of the Greek and English language, both oral and written 
• Excellent power point and Excel skills
