The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer position are:

• Ensures that the Health and Safety requirements are provided and that they comply with standards 45001 (Health & Safety), 50001 (Environment/Cost) and 14001 (Environment)
• Supervises the condition and operation of the machines and guides the personnel of the maintenance department
• Monitors, supervises, evaluates and reviews the preventive and predictive maintenance schedule
• Supervises the performance of the maintenance work
• Oversees maintenance costs to ensure they remain on budget
• Contributes to production lines improvement through the design and development of automation systems as well as breakdown minimization
• Oversees the performance of maintenance projects to ensure the timely execution with quality and on budget
• Identifies the sources of potential problems, proactively takes preventive measures to avoid any project risks as well as determines response actions to mitigate any negative impact
• Collaborates with the industrial engineering department to achieve the agreed KPI’s, regarding the availability of production lines
• Monitors the electricity consumption per section and analyzes findings to stakeholders
• Executes developments according to specified business needs
• Participates into cost and schedules objectives of their projects
• Stays up-to-date with the latest power electronics technologies and applies knowledge to power conversion.
• Researches and identifies industry and market best practices and techniques to implement into projects

The right candidate for the Electrical Engineer position should have:

• Technical University Degree in Electrical Engineering (Meng)
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Working experience with MS Office will be considered as an asset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to work in an industrial environment
• Passion for industrial automations

Prior working experience will be considered as an asset
