As an accounting controller your primary responsibilities will be:

• The preparation of financial, business and regulatory reports in cooperation with the Manager of the department and the provision of detailed information to the Management.
• Participation in the project team for the integration of the new IFRS 17.
• Oversees the organization's daily accounting operations, including the accounting,, accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
• Participation in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget and the analysis of the deviations / proposals related to the objectives.
• Participation in the preparation of the business and strategic plan and its ongoing monitoring.
• Management and control of operating expenses and preparation of monthly expense report to Head Management (Budget vs Actual, Actual vs Previous Year).
• Participation in the interdepartmental projects regarding Corporate Governance,Operations and Process Optimization.

The ideal candidate for this accounting controller position should have:

• BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics or relevant field
• Master Degree or Professional certification in progress or completed (e.g. ACCA, CIMA,IESOEL, DipIFR etc.) will be considered as an asset.
• 5 years of experience in accounting or reporting within insurance industry
• Experience in IFRS 17
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Fluency in English

• Excellent communication skills and willingness for teamwork
• Analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
• Agility and flexibility
• Strong drive for success and autonomy
