The position is full time and permanent, based in Athens' northern suburbs.

responsibilities

What will be your responsibilities in this Voice Engineer role? 

  • provide technical direction and oversight to team members (including integrators/partners) in relationship to Voice, AV, Video and other collaboration technologies
  • install, configure and troubleshoot Cisco VOIP solutions (CUCM, Unity Connection, Cisco unity Express, CME, UCCX systems, routers, switches etc.)
  • monitor and analyze network performance across the organization’s LANs, WANs, Wireless communications, VoIP and security deployments
  • maintain CUCM Clustering, Device Mobility, Extension Mobility, Unified Mobility
  • drive Voice/Collaboration technologies POC designs and implementations
  • provide design/engineering/project leadership on new/upgraded collaboration projects
  • ensure the stable operation and efficient performance of company voice and collaboration systems globally

requirements

What do you need to possess in order to apply for the Voice Engineer role?

  • BSc in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering or relevant specialization
  • at least 3-4 years of relevant working experience with VoIP infrastructure
  • ability to configure, troubleshoot and maintain Cisco Unified Communication Manager and/or Cisco Call Manager Express, Unity Connection, Cisco unity Express, CME and UCCX
  • experience with QoS and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF & BGP
  • hands-on technical knowledge of network systems, protocols and standards like Ethernet, VoIP, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, T/DS/OC, 802.11x etc.
  • expertise in technologies used to enable remote employees including telephony, PCs, wireless networking, WiFi and Smartphone
  • fluency in English both verbally and written is required
  • current CCNA certification is required
  • any other cisco certifications (eg Cisco Voice/VoIP, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE) will be a great plus
  • ability to travel 5-10% yearly if needed
