As Unix Linux Engineer, you will join a team of experienced IT professionals and your main responsibilities will be the following:

• Responsible for installation, planning, implementation, performance and maintenance of customers’ Unix environment
• Problem solving and implementation of existing processes
• Provide support to customers’ with respective environments

In order for your profile to match the Unix Linux Engineer position, you need to have the following qualifications:

• ≥ 2 years of experience in Unix Linux environments
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Proven working experience in Unix Linux installations (such as patching, upgrading, configuration and administration in Unix Linux environments
• Very good communication skills in both Greek and English
• Completed military obligations, if applicable

The following will be considered an asset:

• Certifications in equivalent technologies (IBM Power – AIX desirable)
• Experience in virtualized environments (desired VIO Server – POWERVM)
• Experience in clustering and SAN technologies
• Ability to write scripts for work automation and administration assistance
• Ability in writing technical manuals and documentation as well as design Infrastructure solutions
• Middleware operations (Websphere, Jboss, Weblogic etc.)

• Teamwork and collaboration
• Learn quickly and understand complex systems
• Time management
• Work both independently and in a team

Experience in installation, planning, implementation, maintenance of customers Unix environment
