key responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Tender Engineer include:
- Conducts purchase surveys per contract / material for each project, according to with the technical description, drawings, quantities and cost lists
- Prepares comparison tables and groups offers alike
- Searches for optimal solutions of similar specifications with better costs
- In consultation with the rest of the team, he/she chooses and negotiates the price and terms of cooperation with each partner
- Assigns and monitors agreement acceptance and signing
- Checks the measurements of the quantities of works and materials of the construction and that the issuance of the invoice is in accordance with the agreed terms
- Checks and approves invoices
- Monitors timely receipt of materials from suppliers
- Works directly with the engineers of the Procurement Department and the site engineers
qualifications
The Tender Engineer should have:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering TEI / AEI
- Very good knowledge of English (oral & written)
skills
- Flexibility and immediacy in communication
- Negotiation skills
- Methodology, accuracy, responsibility, consistency
experience
- 5 years in a similar position as Tender or Construction Engineer
