The Software QA Automation Engineer position is fulltime and permanent, based in the northern suburbs of Athens; no remote work is supported.

My client (your next employer?) is headquartered in the USA and focuses on modern microelectronics technologies, having rich clientele in foreign countries. As a Software QA Automation Engineer you will join the company's Product Engineering team, and your mission will be to drive and enhance the quality of the company's innovative software products.

More specifically your duties will be the following:

  • design, develop and execute test plans & automation tools
  • identify and implement testing & validation methodologies
  • implement, extend, execute and maintain automated regression suites
  • investigate and develop new testing tools & procedures

In order for your profile to match the Software QA Automation Engineer position, you need to have the following skills:

  • 2+ years experience in automation software testing (Selenium, or QTP etc.)
  • experience in scripting (Python, Perl, Shell)
  • degree in IT or relevant sector
  • working knowledge in Linux
  • problem solving skills
  • analytical thinking
  • creativity
  • strong will for further improvement
  • team spirit

Skills that will be considered assets:

  • experience in large-scale commercial software development
  • academic knowledge of electronics / microelectronics
  • familiarity with Electronic Design Automation (EDA)  and/or System on Chip (SoC) Design
  • experience in EDA tools in the custom-IC flow and/or Cadence Virtuoso
