responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Senior Reward Officer include:

  • Be responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for over 1.200 employees (Greece & Abroad)
  • Prepare employees’ compensation by the end of each month using payroll software
  • Calculate bonuses and allowances
  • Handle and submit all employment procedures (hiring, terminations of employment, time shifts, overtimes, annual leave reports etc.) to external authorities via YEKA in compliance with the required time frames
  • Schedule bank payments
  • Ensure wages and tax withholdings comply with regulations
  • Enter new employees’ data into internal databases and maintain employee records and ensure that employee changes are entered correctly
  • Answer questions about compensation, taxes and insurance deductions
  • Handle the administration of the timekeeping system
  • Follow up, review and apply labor legislation
  • Handle and submit all obligations arising due to COVID-19
  • Train employees on HR systems and procedures (Scan HRHub, Success Factors)

qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Senior Reward Officer should have:

  • BSc in Accounting, Human Resources or relevant field
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources will be considered as an asset

skills

  • Strong MS-Office skills
  • Excellent English communication skills both writing and speaking
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of accuracy and detail oriented
  • Good knowledge of labor legislation
  • Ability to handle confidential information

experience

  • 5-7 Years’ proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role in an

educational requirements

  • Masters
  • University degree
