responsibilities

There will be a lot of things for you to do during the day as a Senior Java Engineer. You will join the Software Development team (no surprise until now) and be responsible (here's the good part) for: designing, coding, testing, analyzing (let's take a breath now), evaluating, debugging and documenting application programs in Java/JEE technologies. Moreover you will be designing and implementing relevant processes, workflows and data models. Interesting so far?

In terms of the creation of system design and functional specifications, you will be supporting your company and also identifying and applying modern techniques for software development. Of course you will be maintaining and enhancing existing code and databases, as well as working with other teams. You will be a valuable member of the team, won't you?

More specifically, the technology stack you will be working with: Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, JBoss Wildfly, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Apache, Subversion, Atlassian JIRA/Confluence.

All of the above will imply gathering data analytics for clients within the telecoms sector. Are you ready to take over?

In order for you to become a member of this interesting team you need to have the following skills:

/a. In terms of education and experience: a bachelor's degree in IT or relevant sector and min. 5 years of experience minimum in back-end development in Java/JEE within challenging projects are required as well as experience in RDBMS. In addition to the above experience in JEE/Jboss wildfly and/or NoSQL will be also considered as assets.

/b. In terms of personality: actually our client needs an IT professional with strong will for exposure to new technologies and team spirit. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines is also required as well as analytical thinking and focus on problem solving. In case that you have strong communication skills then you can be a perfect match to the Java Engineer role.
