Your responsibilities as a senior accountant will include:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Assist with budget preparations
• Activities related to compiling sales stat reports, handling cost of capital (CoC) module
• General accounting incl. booking accruals and managing prepayments
• General accounting including journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and accounts and bank reconciliations
• Perform stock accounting activities related to the management of inventories, reconciliation
• Activities related to collecting and processing expense reports
• Perform AR and AP reconciliations.
• Reconcile and clear open items related to vendor accounts according to policies.
• Process transactions – processing of vendor invoices non-trade (SG&A), reconciliation, processing of automatic, manual and check payments.
• Creation and maintenance of vendor master data.
• Solve SG&A vendor issues and exceptions.
• Operational treasury activities

To be a good fit for this senior accountant position it will be nice to have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven 5-6 years experience in general accounting 
• Good English skills (written and oral) 
• MS Office knowledge
• Experience, especially for LAW 89, shipping and IKE companies will be considered as a plus
• A, B Class qualification
• Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and Greek Tax System

• Reliable and dependable personality with a strong work ethic and aptitude in Problem-solving
• Detail oriented
• Structured Execution
