JTI is looking for a Sales and Operations Manager?

Sales and Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Agreed sales volume, distribution coverage and $OCC targets (Operating Company Contribution) in Cyprus and Malta
  • Manage two Business Advisors aiming maximization of company’s operating capabilities and efficiencies and one Sales Administration Manager ensuring, efficient use and allocation of sales & trade marketing budget and guarantee smooth company products’ supply for both distributors and route to market stocks availability at trade level
  • Organize, monitor and evaluate all agreed and planned sales cycles & trade activation
  • Maximize the efficiency of the trade marketing activities, visibility and merchandising projects
  • Ensure innovative visibility and merchandising solutions (permanent and non-permanent POSM) in compliance with trade and distributors’ operational capabilities
  • Establish and maintain excellent business contacts with trade & key customers 
  • Safeguard that both distributors’ and company’s activities are compliant with local laws and regulations, and that all stakeholders adhere company procedures and policies related to commercial rules and official regulations
  • Analyze performance data on country and area level
  • Prepare and implement action plans on a monthly basis, meet agreed budgets and address variances while optimizing opportunities presented
  • Ensure that all information and reporting procedures are carried out and feedback is used as a tool for exploring new opportunities for improvement
  • Develop, implement and operate the CRM/SFA systems on both CYMA markets; communicate results in an effective manner to all stakeholders
  • Deliver regular training sessions to both employees and distributor’s sales & trade marketing teams on sales/operations, focusing on trade marketing and merchandising topics


The ideal candidate for the Sales and Operations Manager position should have the following:

  • At least 5 years’ work experience in Sales/Operations and Trade Marketing, 
  • University Degree and MBA 
  • Fluent in English and Greek, speaking and writing
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to persuade and motivate 
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills along with planning and reporting
  • Business holistic awareness and financials understanding
  • Computer literate – familiar with CRM/SFA applications
  • Willing to relocate
