Work as a Reservations & Sales Manager at a 5-star boutique hotel that belongs to Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH); you will spend summer season in Ios, a greek island in Cyclades and during winter you will be working at our client's premises based in Athens. 

  • Ensure all reservation and front office functions  are processed in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner
  • Monitor reservation modifications and update updated the property management system immediately and accurately
  • Achieve customer satisfaction and revenue goals while taking guests through the booking process
  • Assist the hotel manager with budgeting, forecasting, and hiring by creating daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports
  • Demonstrate fully knowledge about hotel guest rooms, rates, promotions, amenities, programs, hotel facilities and services
  • Keep records of room availability, rates, amendments, daily reservation pickup, rooms on book, cancellations, no-show, etc.
  • Track reservations from online hotal channels, hotels' website and other third parties co-operations
  • Adjust pricing rates according to suggestions from yield or revenue management systems
  • Undertake the marketing and sales functions by preparing and implementing an action plan in coordination with the hotel’s management
  • Get involved with hotel’s media relations by preparing and distributing press releases to greek and international channels to boost publicity
  • Create, develop and manage effectively business relationships with travel agents, tour operators and corporate accounts
  • Utilize all promotional opportunities provided by Small Luxury Hotels (SHL) of the World to their member hotels
  • Adhere to hotel's credit and reservations policies by ensuring  proper billing instructions and payment methods

  • BA/MSc degree in Hospitality & Tourism or Business Administration 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in reservations department preferably in boutique hotels
  • Exceptional use of Fidelio and PC literacy (MS Office)
  • Fluency in both English and Greek language
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer-focused approach and numerical acumen
  • Commitment to providing world class service to valuable customers
  • Experience of handling customers contact and resolving queries
  • Being proactive and aware of the business needs
