As a Product Specialist your responsibilities will include:

• Develops and implements key account plans using KAM tool and in accordance with the brand strategy and sales activation plan in order to maximize access to the assigned accounts, as well as the short and long term sales performance of the brand(s) in the accounts. Evaluates progress vs. plan on a monthly basis and proceeds to corrective actions, where necessary. 
• Monitors competitive activity in each account and ensures that appropriate response actions are decided and implemented
• Identifies, establishes and manages high quality relationships with HCPs and other key hospital stakeholders (Director, CFO, pharmacist, product supply, invoicing etc.) in order to meet and exceed their needs. Reports all customer activity in the CRM system on a daily basis and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date.
• Collects, maintains and assesses all necessary market information in order to implement customer profiling and target segmentation according to agreed criteria. Makes proposals to support the development of a successful territory management and sales activation plan.
• Builds understanding of the market intelligence (competition, healthcare trends, hospital practices, healthcare authorities etc.) in a proactive and continuous manner and share this information with internal stakeholders to achieve alignment, anticipate industry changes and challenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution
• Develops product scientific knowledge with assigned HCPs, Thought Leaders, speakers/ advocates and patient associations in order to differentiate Bayer’s product value proposition. Represents the company in promotional and scientific events
• Provides market access input in order to facilitate field market access for the brand(s) and to best fulfill market, customer and patient needs

The ideal candidate for the position of Product Specialist will be expected to possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University in Life Sciences
• MSc preferably in Life Sciences would be considered an asset
• Experience in Urology business will be considered an asset
• Experience in Key Account Management and in Key Opinions Leaders Management
• Exposure in P&L, budget, sales plans etc.
• Knowledge of the local health care environment, orientation in the system of regional and faculty hospitals, private and other health facilities.
• Exposure in local/region hospital management practices.
• Fluency in Greek & English (both written and verbal)
• Traveling required

• Excellent presentation, representation and influencing skills with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Business acumen, innovative thinking and passion to deliver great results.
• Great negotiation and decision-making skills
• Adequate digital/IT skills (as an end user) – Ability to quickly adopt new technologies
• Commercial Capabilities: Environment, Field Segmentation, Customer Segmentation, Proposition, Customer Engagement, KPI - Definition, Measurement, Business Steering.

• At least 2 years of sales experience in Oncology business
