The responsibilities of the Process Engineer include:

• Analyze workflows within and across all sections of the mill to determine how the entire mill can work better
• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
• Perform process simulations
• Follow Health & Safety regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards.
• Manage cost and time constraints
• Perform risk assessments
• Provide process documentation and standard operating procedures

The ideal candidate for the Process Engineer position should have

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline required 
• Health & Safety Culture
• Knowledge of process related standards and process engineering software packages
• Very good command of English (verbal & written)
• Lean six sigma certification would be an asset

• People Management and Organizational skills
• Analytical thinking with interpersonal skills
• Problem Solving skills
