Do you have operational experience in busy, fast paced environments?  Do you pride yourself in providing high standards of service in customer focused roles? Are you a hard working operations assistant looking for an opportunity within an European Union organisation (EASO)?  

The European Asylum Support Office (EASO) is currently seeking an Operations Assistant to start work in Attiki.


  • Manage operational activities related to the operations in the hotspots or other areas under the direct supervision and coordination of the EASO Coordinator.
  • Prove information to migrants, relocation applicants and applicants for international protection as per EASO guidelines. 
  • Operate the EASO relocation hotline responding to and recording various request as per EASO guidelines. 
  • Manage contacts, liaison and networking with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Compilation of daily and weekly statistics and reports and provide inputs for briefing request, state of play of operations.
  • Assist in the management of expert and interpreter teams, including relevant communication and coordination.
  • Assist the EASO Coordinator at relevant local coordination meetings. 
  • Keep files up-to-date on shared drive and any other tasks as necessary.

requirements

This role requires you to  have the following:

  • University degree.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • English Europass CV is mandatory.
  • Excellent Greek and English language skills.
  • Excellent communication,  interpersonal skills and soft skills.
  • Flexibility, ability to multi-task and to work under pressure.
  • Organization and follow-through skills and ability to deliver in deadlines.
