The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) we are looking for will:

• Act as a scientific resource for health care providers (HCP’s), as required, for unsolicited Medical Information Requests.
• Perform Medical Disease Awareness visits and provide the Organization with important HCP insights to Disease Management and Unmet Medical needs.
• Maintain regular communication with the countries where the company operates internationally and actively participate in events.
• Be responsible for the organization and conduct of Advisory Boards with KOLs, depending on the scientific needs of the organization, liaising with the legal department for contract approval and finalization.
• Inform Partners Safety and Medical Departments regarding any local data generated from local HCPs and come to the attention of the RML regarding the Partner’s respective product.
• Author, review, and provide feedback to our organization’s Quality department concerning their updating of Medical Information SOPs.
• Inform Partners Safety and Medical Departments regarding any local data generated from local HCPs and comes to the attention of the RML regarding the Partner’s respective product.
• Author, review, and provide feedback to our organization’s Quality department concerning their updating of Medical Information SOPs.
• Establish and maintain a functional working relationship within the organization, providing scientific support as necessary and/or upon request to other Departments: Medical, Safety, Marketing, Market Access, Legal and Compliance.
• Ensure scientific compliance of advertising and promotional actions according to the local applicable laws and SOPs.
• Perform Quality Check on regulatory translations in local language upon Regulatory department request.
• Perform Quality Check of the translated reported safety information from local language to English to local Pharmacovigilance department.
• Reconcile with local Pharmacovigilance department and with Medical Disease Lead for the Region according to the internal procedures.
• Participate in special projects (new indication priority teams, task forces) and pre-marketing activities, at a local, regional, and international level and Patient Support Programs as required.
• Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future KOL, Brand and Patient Advocates and cooperative groups.
• Develop and implement local Medical and KOL Plans, in line with Global Medical Strategy.
• Attend assigned medical and scientific meetings (local and International).
• Develop required qualitative and quantitative reports from abstracts, journals etc; collate competitor information and give feedback from local and global congresses.
• Discuss feedback from journals, local and international congresses with the KOLs.
• Support local IIS/IITs and clinical trials/registries when needed.

The ideal candidate for the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role will be expected to have the following:

• University Degree in Life Sciences
• Experience in clinical trials / in Medical Department or Clinical Department/in Regulatory affairs or/and pharmacovigilance roles, is considered an asset
• Fluent in English
• Customer and Patient centric / focused
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build working relations with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written , verbal and presentation skills
• Team Player
• Manage complexity and make timely, informed decisions

1-3 years of experience in similar position is considered an asset
