As  Maintenance Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

• Knowledge and application of technical skills to Operate, Maintain, Improve and Repair (OMIR) equipment.  This allows production targets to be met safely, at the right level of quality and on time.
• Understand the principles of mechanism and motion and be able to conduct changeovers, basic repairs and adjustments (eg Cams, slides, bearings, belts and pulleys).  Utilize appropriate lubrication regimes.
• Understanding of principles and application of pneumatics/hydraulics in the sourcing unit; able to conduct fault finding and basic repair.
• Good knowledge of Τhermodynamics principles and applied operations. 
• Conduct basic/and or more advanced electrical tasks within the Sourcing Unit.
• Utilize appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team (eg Lock Out/Tag Out, Isolation Procedures, Fault Location on a Common Control System and Testing and Verification of Common Proximity Sensors.
•  Reduce costs due to waste and minimize impact to health, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.
• Ensure that all aspects of Quality within the area of responsibility are in accordance with local Quality procedures to protect and promote the brand and product.
• Promote the development of a highly effective and autonomous team through strong communication, leading by example and conflict management, whilst keeping focused on goals and targets.  
• Champion specific skills within the autonomous team and coach them to others in order to drive excellence.
• Use performance measures to identify and prioritise losses in production area.  Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses.
• Has the ability to identify, prioritise and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.
• Agree production plan targets and review performance in order to drive functional goals at individual and team level
• Business Awareness - Understanding of the need to meet changing demands and the role of marketing and product innovation in growing the business and increasing the company's share.
• Administration – Collaborate with colleagues to arrange shift and break cover, induct new employees and address performance shortfalls to ensure that team resources can meet operational requirements.

As  Maintenance Supervisor, you need to have the following skills:

• Bachelor Degree on Mechanical/Electrical engineering or relevant from Technological Educational Institute (at least)
• Fluent English oral and writing skills.
• Fluent Greek oral and writing skills.
• Experience of working as part of an extended team within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong leadership and communication skills. 
• 3-5 years of experience in similar position
• Previous experience in the food industry will be considered as a plus
