key responsibilities
As a Legal Associate, some of your main tasks will include:
- Drafting corporate agreements.
- Drafting, reviewing, and amending a wide range of contracts, including Sale and Purchase agreements, Lease and Service agreements, Shareholders agreements, etc.
- Conducting due diligence.
- Participating in M&A transactions.
- Assisting in the establishment of legal entities.
- Providing legal advice regarding business operations and new project investments.
- Liaising with government authorities in the preparation and completion of all legal documentation.
- Handling other corporate tasks.
qualifications
The requirements for the Legal associate role are:
- Postgraduate Degree in Law and license to practice law
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience as a legal associate
- Ability to communicate with clients in English (both verbally and in writing); Ability to write opinion and report in English
- Highly analytical with a strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business related software
- Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills
- Strong academic record
