As a Key Account Manager you will be responsible for:

• Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customer in the assigned territory to generate new business for the company
• Makes telephone calls and in-person visit and presentations to current and prospective customers
• Makes proposals for price modifications if necessary as an answer to specific customer request or anticipating the market trend for approval by the management
• Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customer after approval by management by using the company pricing application
• Coordinates sales efforts with sales management, marketing, customer service and technical services acting as a key-account manager, and reports it into the CRM system
• Supplies management with oral or written reports on market information, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for products or services
• Keeps himself updated on markets, products, technical requirements
• Participates in trade shows, conferences or conventions
• Ensures the proper credit performance of all accounts, in coordination with the customer service and the credit department. Supports recovery of unpaid invoices
• Follows up all inquiries from the spot market, prepares offers to these inquiries and submits them for approval and coordinates with other Marine Managers if necessary
• Operates on a daily basis in full respect of the delegation of authorities by the company
• Leads contracts negotiations and legal follow-up in coordination with the HQ legal team
• Applies and promotes the group policies and guide lines: code of conduct, safety, competition, anticorruption and anti-fraud rules

The ideal candidate for the role of the Key Account Manager, should have the following qualifications:

• University Degree in maritime sector or engineering or business administration
• Excellent level of English language
• Microsoft Office: professional level required
• Customer oriented approach and a team spirit attitude
• Ability to travel 

• Communication, negotiation and persuasion skills
• Thorough analytical skills
• Customer oriented
• Team spirit player
• Organizational skills

• Experience 3-5 years or above is preferable
