responsibilities

As a Key Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Promote Industrial vacuum products to distributors and key accounts across Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary
  • Reporting directly to the Europe Region 
  • A key responsibility is to establish a leading positioning for the company's brand in the region and to contribute to the growth of the region, of the Division Industrial Vacuum and of the Business Area Vacuum Technique
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in alignment with Divisional Marketing team that promote all rough vacuum products under the company's brand to build and reinforce target market share and profitability
  • Preparation and achievement of business line sales budget in the region
  • Prioritize customers and market sectors for sales focus in agreement with the  business line globally and the customer center’s general manager
  • Handle major sales and negotiations for the business line in the region
  • Support all relevant sales channels, direct and indirect, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market with a strong focus on overall market share and profitability of the business line
  • Provide focus, guidance and support to  distributor partners to motivate them in the development, growth, and implementation of agreed strategies for the division
  • Work closely together with other Business Managers (Industrial Vacuum & Vacuum Technique Service) to ensure that the Vacuum Technique Business Area has a homogeneous approach to the market with an aim to achieve our ambitious targets
  • Stay up to date on market intelligence (incl. price levels). Price every product in line with the marketing plan and market potential against current market levels with the objective to give all products the best chance in the market
  • Attend business line review meetings, participate and provide updates at regular meetings with relevant regional salesforce team as well as division and business area management as required
  • Ensure that a differentiated technology and solution is delivered providing regional application and product support
  • Ensure optimum behavior and performance of the business line with the region acting as first point of escalation of business resolution issues
  • Safeguard a safe and healthy working environment

requirements

The ideal candidate for the position of Key Account Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • Work experience: 3+ years equivalent working experience in Vacuum Technique or Rotating Equipment or Water Treatment
  • Bachelor's degree ideally In a technical field 
  • Language skills: English & local language / good command both in speaking & writing
  • Soft skills: Stand Alone, Communication Skills, Building Relationships, Dealing with ambiguity, Entrepreneurial thinking, Customer focus
  • Minimum of 40% travel may be required / depending on the candidate's location (customer facing role)
  • Working permission for 1 or more countries: Greece, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary
