Your duties as a junior accountant in this company will be:

• The day-to-day processing of the AR and AP function
• Post payments – by recording cash and checks – to appropriate general ledger accounts and verify details of transactions
• Verify the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers
• Monitor aging balances of customers and produce reports to focus action of collection teams and give instructions to DSO (cash collection)
• Receive and post customer receipts to customer accounts in compliance with financial policies and procedures 
• Investigate overpayments and underpayments
• Review aging balance and specific account balances
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted 
• Handling banking reconciliations
• e - invoicing

To be an ideal candidate for the junior accountant position, you should have:
