key responsibilities
As a Java Developer you will join a team of experienced developers and your duties will be the following:
- Participate in the design and build of innovative search technologies
- Challenge and redefine existing architectural fundamentals in order to provide
- Build and maintain search functionalities
- Develop, configure and optimize the query pipelines and associated algorithms for better search results and its ranking.
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. And come up with good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for acquiring scalable solutions.
qualifications
What you need to have for this Java Developer position:
- Java development skills
- Understanding of frameworks especially in Spring framework
- Any experience working on search using Lucene, Solr, Elasticsearch, or any other search infrastructure will be a plus
- Familiarity with core concepts of NLP and/or strong desire to learn approaches that power large scale linguistic search will be an asset
- Experience with TDD, BDD and Agile Software Development will be advantageous
- Knowledge of a source control system (preferably Git)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes will be considered a plus
- Basic understanding of Unix

- Very good knowledge of English
