key responsibilities
As a Java Developer, your duties will be the following:
- Software development for large transactional systems and POS devices.
- Back end development using Java EE and C/C++
- Writing clean code and being able to interact with the team for the design and the development of the solutions will also be part of your job
qualifications
As a Java Developer, you need to have the following skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of professional experience in Java/JEE and Object-Oriented programming
- Experience in all phases of application development lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, coding, unit testing, deployment, post-go live support, maintenance)
- Experience implementing new microservices (or enriching/extending existing ones) based on Spring Boot and/or Quarkus
- Experience on JPA frameworks like Hibernate and/or Eclipselink
- Experience with Source Control (GIT, Subversion etc.) and Build Tools (Maven)
- Understanding of RDBMS (preferably MariaDB and MSSQL) and fluency with SQL
- Understanding of Web Services development (SOAP / REST)
- Familiarity with Docker
It would be an advantage if you have the following skills:
- Experience on Full-Stack development with Java based front end frameworks like ZK and/or JSF
- Good understanding of JEE Application Servers (i.e. JBoss, Wildfly, Tomcat)
- Familiarity with linux based operating systems
- Knowledge of C/C++ programming
- Understanding of Android SDK
