responsibilities

As IT Operations Supervisor you’ll report to the IT Operations Manager getting involved with the administration and maintenance of the operating stability, efficiency and security of the IT systems infrastructure and processes within the Head Offices, providing accurate and timely IT support. Your duties will be the following:

• Administer and monitor day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the integrity and availability of systems infrastructure and key processes including: Windows servers Physical & Virtual infrastructure, Active Directory and Exchange mail systems infrastructure, LAN/WAN infrastructure, Systems Center Configuration Manager infrastructure, Backup, Antivirus, Antispam processes,Telecommunications services
• Safeguard and enforce IT policies and procedures
• Coordinate all local helpdesk activities and provide second level of support on escalated issues
• Forecasting of required IT improvement and communicating suggestions to the corporate IT leadership
• Keep abreast of developments and implement best practices to build upon existing knowledge, methods and systems

requirements

In order for your profile to match the IT Operations Supervisor, you need to have the following skills:

• 3-6 years of proven relevant experience in a similar role
• Degree in IT field or related
• Very good knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL, System Center Configuration Manager
• Good Knowledge on TCP/IP, network switches, LAN & WAN infrastructure
• Basic Knowledge on Router & Firewall Security
• Knowledge on Cisco, Veritas Netbackup, Symantec, Solarwinds products & technologies will be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills (both Greek & English)
• Ability to cooperate with international teams
• Excellent time management skills
• Completed military obligations, if applicable
