As an IT Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts,soliciting new accounts, building rapport, and preparing quotations
  • Developing accounts by checking customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items
  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up
  • Maintain and improve quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
  • Learning new products and participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishing department and organization goals
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports


The ideal candidate for the position of IT Account Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • University Degree in Business Administration/ Economics/ Marketing or other related field
  • Master’s Degree in any of the above areas will be an asset
  • Both written and verbal English skills are required
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer behavior, as well as IT industry trends and innovation
  • Ability to explain and demonstrate IT product specifications and functionalities
  • Ability to work autonomously with “can do” attitude 
  • Ability to measure the actual performance and take the corrective action needed 
  • PC skills that include an excellent standard on, Power Point, and Excel
  • Proactive approach with high energy, drive and determination


  • People- oriented with strong communication, negotiation, presentation skills
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs and build ongoing relationships


  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience in Information Technology sector
