As an investment analyst your primary responsibilities will be:

• Day-to-day development, update and review of the financial model including the preparation of scenarios,regular updates, implementation of structural changes
• Financial modelling and projection
• Analyzing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organisation is positioned to deliver for investors
• Refresh and develops all the reports needed to manage the business and develop products to be able to perform in depth analysis
• Assessing business and asset valuations
• Prepares business plan composition and investment analysis
• Reporting discrepancies and issues to senior team leaders when they arise

The ideal candidate for this investment analyst position should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or in a quantitative field of study
• Master degree in Finance
• Three(3) to four(4) years of professional experience in a deals/transactions/restructuring/corporate finance department of a big 4 company or investment firm
• Extensive experience in financial modelling and more specifically business plan composition and investment analysis
• Technical capacity to build/modify complex financial models
• Very good understanding of Corporate Finance principles
• Certificate in financial modelling considered a plus Excellent use of English language
• Excellent Knowledge of MS Office package

• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a high pressure environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Team-player with the ability to interact effectively with different stakeholders

Extensive experience in financial modelling
