key responsibilities
The responsibilities of the HR Manager position include:
- Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff on HR matters
- Identifying HR priorities from corporate and departmental plans,
- Translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives
- Managing human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching and counseling staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions
- Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including workforce planning, resourcing, talent management, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management
- Designing and delivering high impact solutions that meet the needs of the business
- Understanding and anticipating the need for change
- Monitoring and reporting on workforce and succession planning
qualifications
The ideal candidate for the HR Manager position should have:
- University Degree in relevant field
- Familiar with the full cycle of people management activities (employee relations, employment law, compensation & benefits, performance management, labour law)
- Proven hands-on attitude, be flexible and adaptable

- Problem solving and analytical capability
- Able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision – ability to be proactive, prioritize work and handle multiple assignments in a timely manner.
