key responsibilities
As a Guest Relation Officer you are responsible for:
- Review arrival lists to welcome guests
- Attend to special guest events and answer their inquiries
- Help prepare welcome folders with collateral (e.g. room service menus, resort/hotel descriptions)
- Provide information about amenities, area and venues and promote services
- Anticipate guest needs and build relations with customers
- Assist with certain tasks (e.g. confirming travel arrangements, taking messages)
- Address customer complaints and escalate to Guest Relations Manager when needed
- Record information in the logbook daily
- Communicate with department for any guest complaint o concerns
- Ensure compliance with health and quality standard
qualifications
For this position you need to have the following:
- Proven experience
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages will be considered as a plus
- Computer skills
- A customer-oriented and professional attitude
- An outgoing personality
- Outstanding communication abilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Degree in Hospitality Management will be considered as a plus
