responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities as Executive Housekeeper will be the following:

  • Supervision and coordination of the entire housekeeping team
  • Establish and implement operating procedures and standards
  • Coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas are well maintained, in good condition, and tasks are performed
  • Supervise inspection or inspect assigned areas to ensure standards are met
  • Lead a team of maids, cleaners, valet, and laundry attendants with continuous training for each member of the team
  • Complete and control housekeeping stock and be able to set a budget and save costs
  • Handle administrative tasks
  • Make sure all team members are committed to rules and procedures by order to achieve the highest satisfaction of visitors
  • Immediate resolution of all problems, whenever they occur
  • Attend  and participate in meetings of the department and management for hotel improvement and development

qualifications

Before applying for the position of Executive Housekeeper make sure you have the following requirements:

  • Knowledge of hotel management software
  • Educational background in hospitality will be considered as an asset
