As an Executive Chef you will be accountable for the following:

  • Overall success of the daily kitchen operations.
  • Provides direction for all day-to-day operations in the areas of banquets, room service, restaurants, bar/lounge and employee cafeteria and all support areas such as, dish wash room and purchasing.
  • Leading team members and managing all food related functions. 
  • Responsible for guiding and developing staff and talents.
  • Be part of the recruitment process for your department
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maximizing the financial performance in all areas of responsibility.
  • Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced.
  • Ensure food safety standards are achieved.
  • Ensure property policies are administered fairly and consistently.
  • Setting and maintaining goals for culinary function and activities.
  • Implement guidelines and control procedures for purchasing and receiving areas.
  • Establish performance, budget, and team goals.
  • Manage department controllable expenses including food cost, supplies, uniforms and equipment.
  • Participates in the budgeting process for areas of responsibility.
  • Know and implement the brand's standards.
  • Provide direction for menu development.
  • Determine how food should be presented, and create decorative food displays with superior quality products, presentations and flavor.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  • Respond to and handle guest problems and complaints if needed.
  • Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.


As an Executive Chef we expect the following qualifications:

  • Experience in high quality international branded hotels.
  • Diploma from Culinary Arts.
  • Fluent in English
  • HACCP certification


  • Leadership skills / team spirit
  • Professional attitude
  • Good customer service skills
  • Organizational skills


  • 6 years experience in the culinary and food and beverage professional area.
