responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:

  • Follow Health & Safety regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards
  • Coordinate activities with production and quality control departments for tasks prioritization
  • Perform and Oversee Corrective and Preventative Maintenance activities on all Electrical equipment
  • Participate, Monitor and Control the Progress of Maintenance Works
  • Upgrade, Maintain & Provide Technical Support for existing Electrical Control Systems
  • Timely and valid treatment of emergency failures
  • Manage and develop the Electrical Maintenance personnel
  • Oversee Project Scheduling and Organization of Maintenance Assignments 
  • Provide technical assistance to Electrical Maintenance and Automation personnel for troubleshooting or new equipment installation 
  • Create or Modify Electrical Equipment Maintenance Plans and Manuals

qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Electrical Engineer position should have

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Member of Technical Chamber of Greece)
  • Health & Safety Culture
  • Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent command of MS Office Applications
  • Good understanding of Electrical Design (knowledge of CAD software, AutoCAD or EPLAN will be considered an asset) 
  • Familiarity with automation software and hardware will be considered an asset (preferably Siemens PLC, Drives and Software)

  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Team working spirit

experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
