The European Asylum Support Office (EASO) is currently seeking Dublin Assistant r to start work in Athens.

responsibilities

As a Dublin Assistant in this role, your main responsibilities will be the following: 

  • Support the processing of Dublin cases under the supervision of the Greek Asylum Service
  • When appointed, process Dublin cases, analyse, gather information and prepare complete files for outgoing and/or incoming transfers
  • When appointed, support the preparation of the transfers of applicants to receiving Member States and of applicants arriving from other Member States
  • When appointed, carry out the steps necessary for ensuring the completion of each of the required documents and processes necessary for finalising a Dublin case, including case-follow up after transfer
  • Support in administrative tasks of the unit, including case-management
  • Draft documents, templates, statistics, minutes and reports
  • Provide regular analytical and statistical reports of provided services and challenges

requirements

The position of Dublin Assistant is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills: 

  • University degree
  • Very good understanding of the Greek migration and asylum context will be an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent English 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent soft skills 
  • Flexibility, ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
  • Organization and follow-through skills and ability to deliver in deadlines
  • English Europass CV is mandatory
