What does this role of Customer Engagement Specialist entail?

  • Nurtures customers to become advocates and develops innovative programs to support optimal customer engagement
  • Plans and manages customer group events such as Regional Customer Group meetings
  • Builds and maintains an active and engaged customer community where customers are enabled to access, create and collaborate via discussions, content and information about topics of mutual interest
  • Moderates online and offline conversations with the customer community
  • Works with Product division to coordinate community postings as appropriate across the different members and touchpoints
  • Co-operates with the Product & Account teams to ensure customer feedback is captured efficiently
  • Monitors and measures the success of community engagement (i.e. number of power users, number of discussions, etc.), and provides relevant reports and insights on customer engagement
  • Reviews, understands and analyzes competitors to identify and strengthen the value proposition and unique selling points of the product

requirements

What do you need to have to apply for Customer Engagement Specialist position?

  • BA or MBA in communications, digital marketing or related
  • 3+ years of experience in community management or communications
  • Experience in enterprise software industry
  • Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels
  • Experience launching community initiatives (e.g. building an online forum)
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in an analytical role a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation development and presentation skills
  • Collaborative leadership, specifically driving programs beyond and across organizational boundaries
