responsibilities

As a Buyer you will be responsible to:

  • Review purchase orders, optimize factors of price, quality and services, through cost analysis 
  • Collaborate with other departments to verify orders
  • Contact vendors and evaluating bids offered by suppliers
  • Verifies the correct entry of purchase requests (RDA)
  • Ensures the process of receipt, acceptance and assessment of supplies by the requesting departments
  • Determine purchasing needs, analyzing quotes and bids for suitability, cost and product availability; evaluating samples, products and services

qualifications

For the Buyer position you should ideally demonstrate: 

  • University Degree preferably in the fields of Business Administration or a related field 
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and familiarization with ERP systems
  • Ability to work with numbers and produce detailed reports

skills

  • Outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
  • Confidence and ability to work in a team and autonomously

experience

 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a procurement or supply chain department
