responsibilities

As a Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Discovering market opportunities and turn them into sustainable business growth whilst maintaining existing customer base
  • Explore opportunities to expand by introduction of new customers, products, promotions or concepts
  • Developing & implementing sales strategies and marketing plans for market development
  • Develop & manage yearly sales forecasts and expenses
  • Managing and completing tender documentation for major Construction tender requests
  • Achieve sales budget by building upon the established reputation and expanding existing customer base
  • Interacting with key partners and customers in open communication, creating relations of common purpose and mutual benefit
  • Inspiring and motivating team members to dream, think and deliver
  • Creating, organizing and managing processes in line with company targets

requirements

The ideal candidate for the position of Business Development Manager will be expected to possess the following:

  • At least 5 years experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager in an international company within the construction sector
  • University degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration or other relevant subject
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and will be required to develop new business within the Construction industry
  • The ability to work autonomously, be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills is essential
  • Must be highly focused, motivated, results driven and a ‘team player’
  • Entrepreneur spirit and passionate commitment to top performance
  • The successful applicant will also have a high level of customer service and relationship building focus.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, self-starter personality
  • Strategic thinking, excellent communicational and organizational skills
  • Ability to involve and inspire team members towards common goals
  • Travelling to foreign countries could be expected in this role, so the right candidates must be willing to travel abroad
