As a backend engineer, you'll join a team of professionals, and you will be working with the backend development of products, being used from international clients in the maritime industry. More specifically, your duties will be following:

• develop parts of the infrastructure
• collaborate with teams for developing new products, features and support
• contribute with your insights to  rearchitect existing systems 
• experiment with new technologies 
• test your code for quality and functionality 

In order for your profile to match this backend engineer position, you need to have the following skills:

• 3+ years of working experience in software development with PHP
• prior experience in building REST APIs
• understanding of solid principles
• knowledge of relational database systems 
• degree in IT or relevant field
• fluency in English
• completed military obligations, if applicable

The following will be considered an asset:

• knowledge of non-relational database systems (e.g. MongoDB, Redis)
• familiarity working with a cloud environment
• experience with docker

• problem solving
• teamwork

• experience working on software applications
