    As an Administrative Assistant in the legal department, some of your responsibilities will be the following: 

    • Providing ad hoc administrative support to the Legal team 
    • Responsible for filing and maintaining archive, both electronic and hard copy. Retrieval of documents as requested
    • Monitoring annual leave requests maintaining the annual leave chart of the department
    • Responsible for the execution of a high volume of documents 
    • Updating calendars of the team with all important and necessary information
    • Setting up and monitoring conference calls to ensure no calendar conflicts
    • Handling calls and messages, preparing memos and correspondence letters
    • Arranging for and monitoring courier dispatches and office supplies 
    • Assisting with travel arrangements
    • Coordinating guest arrangements and logistics and assisting with large meeting events of the Legal department


    The ideal Administrative Assistant will have the following profile:

    • Degree in Legal/Paralegal studies or relevant field 
    • 2-5 years of previous similar experience 
    • Fluent in English (writing, reading and speaking)
    • MS Office Applications
    • Analytical thinking
    • Ability to use own initiative
    • Organisational skills
    • Co-ordination and time-management skills
    • Discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
