The European Asylum Support Office (EASO) is currently seeking Administrative, Logistics and Facilities Assistant to start work in Athens.

responsibilities

As an Administrative, Logistics and Facilities Assistant in this role, your main responsibilities will be the following: 

  • Provide day-to-day office management, including reception of office guests, internal management of room booking
  • Provide general administration and secretarial support
  • Assist senior staff in their daily tasks, including with practical support, such as printing, organising files, preparing letters, notes, booking and purchasing tickets, managing missions, etc;
  • Organise events/meetings and oversee hosting (incl. booking venues, ordering catering, etc.)
  • Manage documents; Keep records and manage tools and databases
  • Register incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Draft documents, templates, minutes and reports
  • Perform logistic arrangements, purchasing, facilities management and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain inventory and manage assets in the office
  • Provide project assistance/implementation support

The position of Administrative, Logistics and Facilities Assistant is just the right one for you if you possess the following skills: 

  • University degree
  • Demonstrated previous experience in relevant tasks within an office of 20+ persons
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent English 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent soft skills 
  • Flexibility, ability to multi-task and to work under pressure
  • Organization and follow-through skills and ability to deliver in deadlines
