As a Tech Lead - Senior Software Engineer in one of our multidisciplinary autonomous Scrum teams, you’ll be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of software engineers by developing their skills and the team’s performance and also developing end-to-end high traffic, real-time products, mobile applications, internal tools and back-end services yourself. 

Below you will find your main responsibilities in detail:

• Create new solutions and see them through, from conception to production
• Design and develop end-to-end sophisticated technological systems. The client’s large scale, highly available infrastructure is at the core of that challenge
• Manage a team of software engineers and improve the team’s performance
• Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration
• Research new technologies to find new and efficient ways to solve day to day challenges
• Challenge the status quo and improve the team and product

Tech stack: most of the sites and services are written in C# / ASP.NET and new services are written in .NET Core. New applications use vue.js in the front-end while older ones use server-rendered (Razor) views in combination with jQuery & Knockout.js. MS SQL Server is used for most of the storage needs, but also uses Redis and ElasticSearch when it makes sense to do so. RabbitMQ is our go-to message broker. The company uses Gitlab for code versioning and CI, and the Atlassian stack for tickets and documentation.

As a Tech Lead - Senior Software Engineer, you need to have the following skills: 

• 5+ years of experience developing production-level software using Microsoft .NET (full framework or .NET Core)
• Experience with leading a team
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and testing distributed applications
• Expertise in concurrency, multi-threading, and event-driven architecture
• Proficient in C# and MVC
• Very good communication skills in both Greek and English

5+ years of experience developing production-level software using Microsoft .NET/C#
